Curtains up!

As we mentioned in an earlier post, finding a marque in Greece in difficult and usually very expensive but there are other ways that you can dress a venue to make it feel a little more covered.  I found these images online and love the softness the give to a structure.

Draping fabric can provide a really intimate feeling to an open area or a pergola.  I think the use of curtains is really cleaver and I love the how it provides the garden with a sense of enclosure and tactility. Coupled with these beautiful floral tie backs would give an  amazing feature to your wedding venue.

The options are boundless as they can be adapted to all themes and locations.  I think the pergola with the floating fabric panels on the beach is just magical especially if a breeze catches them.  So romantic. Also using them to designate areas such as a lounging area can be great. Imagine soft candle light, comfortable sofas, flowing fabric, who wouldn't want to take some time out from dancing to have a quiet drink and an intimate chat.
