Sunken Images

Last year Sara and I had the fortune to meet an incredibly creative and visionary lighting and marquee man in Athens.  He works on all the large events for the banks and big corporations in Athens and it was from him that this idea came.  The image I am showing you is actually a swimming pool in NYC (the Thompson Les Hotel) and as I couldn't find an exact image of what I want, this showed the idea I am about to share with you.

You take cool photos, enlarge them, frame them in perspex and (this is a bit of guess work) silicone it together and then weight at the bottom of a pool!  Now you may think I am mad but it looked amazing and if you look at the image of the Andy Warhol Pool above you can get a rough idea.  It could images be of anything you want; flowers, yourselves, anything.

I think it is awesome and would make such a cool change from just a pool!
