I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and they were telling me all about a wedding they had just been to. About half way through our high tea (complete with cupcakes!) she described how the bride and groom helped the guests wile away their buffet queue and it was brilliant. The buffet was situated outside the dining hall and when the guests went to get their food they were confronted by the bride and groom in fancy dress, with a line of chairs for the guests, an array of fancy dress for them all to dress up in and the wedding photographer. Now that is hilarious. What incredible photographs you would have and it makes a nice change from the standard group table photographs that you usually get.

I think this idea could also be adapted to the meet and greet line up as well. How much would you enjoy walking into a wedding reception and seeing the whole wedding party already waiting in fancy dress? I always find the line up really uncomfortable but that one I would thoroughly enjoy, even pay to see in some circumstances.
