After a brief chat with Sara yesterday (with only 10 days to go until her wedding she is swamped), I decided to have a debate about whether or not to have a wedding video. I opted out myself. The thought of having to re watch us awkward and nervous was way too painful a thought for us to deal with and to be fair Jubbs was in total agreement. This did not go down well with some of the family but the decision was made. I can see real merit in having one, if that is what you like, but what should be the deciding factors if you are on a split decision? Sara originally did not want a wedding video but has had a rethink due to certain key, family members unable to attend. This I think is a good point but do you think one should have one anyway even if there is no missing family members? In todays technology climate most compact cameras have a video function on them, as I found out the hard way having received copious embarrassing mini videos from my friends. So should those who are not too keen on the idea save the expense of a wedding video and just keep friends random videos as a momento instead? I just don't know.
