Wedding Websites

Wedding websites make so much sense when you are getting married abroad.  It allows you to easily inform your guests of any changes to the itinerary as well as collect information from them.   You can make you own and nowadays it is really easy.  Jubbs built ours using Joomla. I know that he works in the IT industry so this give him a little bit of an edge but to be honest I have also used the programme and it is really easy once you get accustomed to it and I am an imbecile when it comes to these things. Here is the link for you to have a look at what ours looked like www.greece-lightning.co.uk  and below are some links to the Joomla site and Artisteer ( this needs to be downloaded in order to design your basic site).  Also the Joomla site has a load of free templates you can download and use.

If you really cannot be bothered to go the above route there are loads of company's that allow you to fill in a template with the relevant info and upload your photos onto your website.  It is really easy and looks great. There are loads of sites that do free wedding sites so google away!

Ours was infalible.  It was great to offer people an option for replying online (there is always one who leaves it to the last minute and normally that is me), an online RSVP form was used more than the card option.  Getting people to send music requests was great in gauging what music people wanted to hear and to build the play list for the DJ.  Having news flash banners kept people in the known of the venue changes we made at the last minute and any other random piece of information Jubby decided to add!  They really are a great idea and will help relieve some stress out of orgainising all your guests.
